Welcome to North Yorkshire Hamster Breeder I breed tame, high quality and gorgoeus russian dwarf hamsters, not only do i breed for the colour but i breed for the temprement, therefore all of my hamsters are hand reared and friendly. Russian hamsters are sociable and live happily in same sex pairs or groups and live for about 2 years. They are lively little hamsters and really enjoy being handled once they are used to you, although they are quite sensitive to rough handling so are not suited to very young children. I keep mostly Winter whites at the moment but i do have a few campbells, babies are available all year round so im never limited. I care a great deal towards the health and temprements of my hamsters and i try to give them the best treatment possible, i will only sell my hamsters to people who i am sure will give them the care and attention they need. I find that keeping the hamsters in pairs or small groups is often better than keeping them alone, i prefer them to have the company of one another so that they are less likely to get bored, i will sell pairs or small groups of littermates or occasionally breeding pairs from different litters, you must still be aware that even though very unlikely there is a small chance of fighting among them for no aparent reason.
